Salary between $69,000 and $75,000 + Statutory Superannuation.

The Role
Working with the Regulatory Services Unit and representing the Council in the community, the Compliance Officer is responsible for applying a variety of parking controls and Council By-Laws including car parking management and abandoned vehicles, animal management and flammable growth management.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a passion for providing high-quality service, enjoy being active working outdoors in the community and possess the following skills and experience.
• Exceptional service skills
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, in isolated settings as well as within a team environment
• Current Driver’s licence (essential)
This position requires someone with a positive attitude who demonstrates a Citizen-focused approach whilst working in our community.
Prior experience working in compliance and in the Local Government sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
