A strategic approach to asset management is required to effectively, efficiently and sustainably manage Council infrastructure.
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters has four Asset Management Plans covering the following categories:
- building infrastructure
- civil infrastructure
- stormwater infrastructure
- recreation and open space infrastructure.
The Asset Management Plans detail information about infrastructure assets along with actions required to provide an agreed level of service in the most cost-effective manner over a ten year period.
The Asset Management Plans are part of a suite of strategic planning documents, have been developed in accordance with requirements under the Local Government Act 1999 and adopted following community consultation.
