What is a traffic study?
The purpose of the study is to develop an integrated transport system that meets the needs of the residents and visitors as pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and public transport users, and to support more liveable and sustainable neighbourhoods.
What is the next stage?
The Council will consider your comments as well as evidence-based traffic data, to develop a traffic management strategy. A second round of consultation will be undertaken to seek your views on the final strategy.
This will enable the Council to improve the safety and liveability of the local street network in a strategic and prioritised program.
