I am honoured to be the newly elected Member for the Kensington/East Norwood Ward. I grew up in Payneham and I am glad to be back living in the Norwood Payneham St Peters Council District. I am privileged to be able to enjoy this magnificent precinct as well as the opportunity to represent residents in my ward.
I am passionate about my local area, which has some of the best facilities available for everyone to enjoy. These include the luscious tree lined streets, parks, heritage buildings, recreational areas, pools, libraries and the vibrant ambience of The Parade precinct. I want to keep these facilities maintained and enjoyed by all as well as supporting residents to the best of my ability as a Councillor.
My wife and I have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren who adore visiting our Council area due to the amenities and the marvellous opportunities available to all ages. I am a music educator, performer and small business owner. I am currently a Voluntary Member on the Board of The Musicians Union of Australia.
I enjoy spending quality time with the family, reading, listening to all genres of music and bike riding throughout Adelaide. After so many years as a Music Educator, I still enjoy teaching and music performance immensely.
