The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Library Service has three branches, located in the suburbs of Norwood, Felixstow and St Peters.
Library volunteers assist library staff to deliver services to citizens across the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters.

Volunteer roles include:
Home library service: |
Volunteers select and deliver resources to residents who are housebound due to illness, disability or frailty. |
Community information: |
Volunteers update the community noticeboards in each of the Council libraries including, putting up and taking down posters, displaying pamphlets, flyers and brochures. |
Library processing: |
Volunteers assist with the processing of new materials and repairing damaged items. |
Computer training: |
Volunteers provide basic support and instruction to library members who are attending a computer training session. Computer training is non-assessed and is an opportunity for people to learn basic computing, Internet, email and other skills in a supportive learning environment. |
Storytime & Baby Bounce Programs: |
These Programs aim to promote creativity, inspiration and participation through a range of activities for young children and their parents/caregivers.
Volunteers are responsible for the preparation of craft activities and song sheets, setting up and packing down of the programs and assisting parents and the program coordinator during the sessions.
