Graffiti removal volunteers work as a team to remove illegal graffiti and posters from Council owned property and infrastructure across the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters.

The Graffiti Removal Program began as an initiative of the local Neighbourhood Watch group and has run for more than 10 years as a Council volunteer program.

The team prides itself on a rapid graffiti removal service to discourage re-offending.

Volunteers assist with the removal of small tags from fences to painting over entire walls situated along the River Torrens Linear Park.

The team embraces best environmental practices and minimises the use of chemical solvents by using a sludge vacuum to clean up any run-off from their activities.

Easy to spot in their brightly coloured orange overalls and yellow vests, the team moves from job to job in a dedicated graffiti removal vehicle.
