Join the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters library service and be part of the 'one card' network. Membership is free!

Woman holding Library CardThe SA public library 'one card' network is connecting the systems of more than 130 public libraries across South Australia to let you borrow and return items wherever you go, using your City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters library card.

Anyone living in South Australia can join our library service.

If you are visiting the state and would like to use the library while you are here, bring in some photo ID and as a 'visitor member' you can borrow up to five items.

Join in person

You can register for membership at any of our three library branches.

To join the Library you will need to:

  • show personal identification with your photo and current address
  • bring along a parent or guardian if you are under 18 years of age
  • agree to the Library's Conditions of Library Membership

If you are visiting South Australia and would like to use our services during your travels, bring in some photo identification and we can provide you with a temporary membership.

Join online

You can register for membership through our online catalogue, or through the LibrariesSA app.

This will give you immediate access to our Digital Library which includes access to eBook and eAudiobook collections, online magazines, newspapers, movie streaming, online training and more. 

If you want to borrow physical items, we require you to show us identification (ID) that shows your name, current address and date of birth.
