This exhibition embodies the responses of five artists to the work of Impressionist artist, Berthe Morisot, an artist who found her inspiration within her domestic environment.
Through their diverse practices the artists have expressed their personal narratives and the potential of the home as a space for creativity and deeper thoughts on their issues of concern especially when prompted by the catalyst of boredom.
The works speak of finding healing and validation through the telling of personal stories, normalising discourse around their experiences, and breaking down the barriers that oppress women of all ages, both inside and outside of the home, 'Her Home'.
