Australia Day & Citizenship Ceremony
Jan26
Our Australia Day event on St Peters Street hosts a Citizenship Ceremony, Community BBQ and Australia Day Awards.
Around 40 conferees become new citizens on the day and are gifted local produce and memorabilia from our City.
We invite local MPs, local Community, our Elected Members and Staff to join the celebrations.
The Australia Day Awards are also presented at this event giving recipients the opportunity to celebrate this momentous occasion with their family and friends.
If you or your child has any hearing or support requirements in order to participate fully in this event, please contact our events team via events@npsp.sa.gov.au to make sure we can make all participants welcome and supported. Please note: the Street is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
