Festival of Footy on South Australia’s Premier Mainstreet, The Parade

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters has welcomed the AFL Gather Round to Norwood Oval in 2023, 2024 and for 2025!

The fixture for 2025 has been released with Norwood Oval hosting two games:

  • Saturday 12 April - Western Bulldongs vs Brisbane at 3.45pm, and
  • Sunday 13 April - St Kilda vs GWS at 2.50pm.

How to be involved

Be a part of the Festival of Footy in our City
 
The Council is hosting events and sharing business promotions and offers. Keep us up to date with what your businesses are doing this AFL Gather Round.
 
Ways to be involved:
  • Submit an offer or discount for Gather Round weekend,
  • Sponsor components of the events, 
  • Donate items or vouchers for a silent auction, or
  • Let us know your ideas!
 
 
Join the SATC Festival of Footy program
The Festival of Footy program is a collation of independently hosted activations and special offers from businesses across South Australia. The program is open to all regional areas and is free to join.
 

Through the SATC platform, your business can also submit a special deal or event to attract visitors travelling to experience Gather Round.

Key Dates

  • 13 November | Applications open. Successful applicants notified once reviewed by SATC and approved by AFL
  • 14 January | Applications closed
 
  

Norwood Oval

The Norwood Oval (Coopers Stadium) is neatly located on The Parade, Norwood and has a rich history of over 140 years. Home to the Reglegs SANFL team.
