Amanda is an Adelaide based artist with an extensive background in the visual arts both as an educator and practitioner. She has exhibited regularly since 2007 in both joint and solo exhibitions and utilises a range of diverse media to produce works gaining inspiration from her life experiences, beliefs, travels and relationships. Her current discipline is hand painted/glazed ceramics and bust work. Amanda has her own kiln providing opportunities to further develop and build her arts practice and continues to exhibit and sell her work. She also undertakes private commissions and operates under her registered business name Whimsy Arts and conducts demonstrations, workshops and runs classes from her home studio in Payneham.
